Our History
SageKey Software has been providing custom software development and software installation tools since 1996 following the maxim that outstanding companies are built by providing outstanding customer service and support. Staying true to this core value SageKey now has over 3500 customers in 50+ countries.
We are a customer driven company. Our customers are our heartbeat and we cherish our relationships with them and are committed to helping in their success by creating meaningful software for them.
While Custom software development is the main focus of our company, we started business by providing tools to the developer community and continue to do so today. Our first product, Access 97 Runtime Scripts for Wise, was released April 1998 and resolved all the issues within the Microsoft Access 97 Developer Toolkit.
This provided a professional grade installer for Microsoft Access 97 Developers to deploy their applications across a wide range of PC’s. As the Microsoft offering was so buggy at the time, this tool bridged a gap and allowed Microsoft Access to be used as a viable software development language by the programming community.
Over the next decade while we continued to provide software installation tools and services to the developer community our custom software development group grew. It is now our major focus as a company.
Today, one part of the company remains focused on software developer tools. Our original product has undergone many revisions as it kept up with the needs of the Access developer community. In 2003, Microsoft recognized SageKey as a specialist in this area and invited us to advertise our products with a brochure placed into Microsoft’s Office 2003 product box.
The latest version of our installation tool, the Access Deployment Wizard, is a well rounded software installation tool that allows Microsoft Access developers to create professional installs with minimal effort. The resultant installations created with the Deployment Wizard automatically bypass the Access Repair messages and macro security warnings.
Today, the majority of our company is focused on designing and building Custom Software for our clients, creating unique software solutions across a range of industries. With more than 600 completed projects, we are proud to state that we have successfully completed every project we have started. Some examples of our work are:

In 2009 we adopted a formal software engineering process in order to create validated, high integrity software for the Medical Industry. Encompassed in a set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), these procedures outline a standard set of actions and documents that are executed when developing software for regulated industries.
