Web service providing access to indexed Yellow Pages advertisement data.
In 2007 the Local Search Association (then called the Yellow Pages Association) again teamed with SageKey to bring its vision of giving its member clients and CMRs the ability to design their own in-house tools around IRIS ONLINE headings data.
SageKey desgined a multi-level web service that interfaces not only with LSA subscribers but a cerntal repository of Yellow Pages directories. This allows clients to request any one of over fifteen million headings, which can then be show to their clients. This system replaces an old and very time and resouce intensive practice of an employee phsically tearing a page from a Yellow Pages directory so it could then be sent to a client. This is why LSA Web Services are commonly refered to as “The Tear Pages Service”.
LSA Web Services are a paid subscription service provided by the Local Search Association and access to the site requires a password. The entry to the page can be viewed at wservices.localsearchassociation.org
