I have an installation that is giving me issues. The customer has Microsoft Office 64 bit version installed on her computer. My Access 2010 32 bit will not install. Is there anything that I can do to help her?

Thanks,
Mary

Hi,

We have this issue with our clients as well. There is nothing you can do except have the client install a 32 bit version of office or build a 64 bit version of your install (which is much more complicated). Microsoft doesn't recommend the installation of the 64 bit version unless you need it for Excel spreadsheets over 4GBs or something ridiculous like that... something way beyond our user base! Since many of the controls we use do not have a 64 bit version it becomes a real pain to go that route - just get them to install the 32 bit version instead... i love the expression on their face when they realize they need to get their buddies install disc back :)
