As the topic name says...

Start Access does not work on Windows 2008 Server (x64) for standard domain user.

Here it is, a standard user can logon to any workstation in our domain and work on our software but few remote users logon to Windows 2008 Server and can't use the software.
Access is running reconfiguration like before SageKey solution was implemented.

Administrators don't have this problem.
The thing is strange because I gave 'em local Administrator rights on server and that didn't solve the problem.
Giving 'em domain Administratior rights will compromise company security and it's not a solution to our problem.

We have tested StartAccess in that scenario and have not run into that issue before.
It is possible that at time of install the user you installed with did not have full permissions to the registry.
You can fix that by logging in as a local admin and running
(path to StartAccess)\StartAccess_XXXX.exe -openkeys

(The path to StartAccess is by default C:\Program Files\Common Files\SageKey Software\StartAccess_XXXX.exe)

This will open the required permissions in the registry for StartAccess to stop the reconfiguration.
