Hello all,

I have a customer with an issue installing my Access 2007 application on the new Windows 7. He said he's tried on 3 different installations of Windows 7, and gets the same error each time.

Errors:

1) During installation: "The file 'c:\windows\system32\alt.dll' could not be opened. Please check that your disk is not full and that you have access to the destination directory."

2) When running my app, he then gets "429 - ActiveX component can't create object.."

To give you a little background, alt.dll is a file I install during installation. It's an add-in that allows me to offer a 3rd e-mailing choice from within my program (self-contained e-mail utility called EasyMail). I'm using Wise Installation System 9, and the line that installs alt.dll is as follows:

If System does NOT have Windows 95 Shell Interface then:

item: Install File
Source=C:\pc experts\Dlls and OCXs\unicode\atl.dll
Destination=%SYS32%\atl.dll
Flags=0001001010000011
end

Many thanks in advance,

Andy
