I recently updated my MSI Wizard 2003 to version 2.1.2.20. My install was created but i need to make some modifications to the MSI file and cannot open it in Installshield. (My previous msi files created are opening fine.) Any information on who i can open this file would be appreciated. (I'm using Installshield 2011 - but have also tried to open in Installshield 12 with no success.)

Thanks
Lisa

Hi Lisa,

The MSI files are still editable, we use Microsoft's free MSI editor, Orca.

My company uses Installshield 2011 and i need to be able to edit my file using this.

Is there a reason Installshield is no longer supported? In the previous version of 2003 MSI Wizard i had no problem using Installshield to edit my MSIs. Now with the newest version which i need for Office 2010 compatibility I cant do so.

Is there a fix or something that can be done to allow this. I desparately need this to work in installshield or will have to revert back to the older version of sagekey.
